BACKGROUND STORY
About us
Science for the Planet began as a scientific conference, but from the very start it aimed to be something more.

COMMUNICATION, DISCUSSION, ACTION
Because it’s not just a conference
We don’t just organise events: we want to spark a change that starts with awareness and extends to our daily actions, our political choices, and the way we relate to the planet.
- A place where different disciplines come together, from the natural sciences to the humanities;
- A network of people united by a desire to build a sustainable future;
- A cultural movement that takes science out of the university lecture halls, making it accessible to anyone who wants to understand, take action and bring about change.
What we believe in
Our values
Open Science
Knowledge must be accessible and shared.
Collaboration
We encourage the exchange of different perspectives.
Responsability
Every choice, big or small, can make a difference.
Territory
We believe in the connection between science and local communities.
Our team
Behind Science for the Planet lies a small group of university researchers and students who have refused to give up.
Together, they have pooled their expertise, time and energy to create a project that combines scientific rigour with an openness to dialogue.
